Completed Project: The Cage - ATA Wandsworth
Complete reconstruction of an existing 3 court MUGA/Tennis Facility, including demolition and re-use of existing site materials, stump removal, new stone foundations, edgings Twin Bar fencing porous macadam surfacing , colour coating , equipment store and DDA access route.
Following on from works completed at ATA Wandsworth ‘Open-view’ in 2007, ‘The Cage’ marked a happy return to an existing client, ATA Wandsworth. The project involved the complete reconstruction of an existing MUGA/Tennis facility. The existing courts were suffering from poor drainage, extensive root damage, dilapidated fencing and unacceptable surface levels.
Work commenced with the removal of the existing fencing system and the surfacing was broken up, crushed and set aside for reuse. The site was then laser graded to give a dual fall and the existing sub base was returned graded and rolled. New foundation stone, macadam surfacing and colour coating were then installed and a 4.5 m high twin bar fencing system completed the transformation in to what is now an attractive, user friendly facility.
