Project: Construction of Athletics Track to meet IAAF Class 1 Track Certification, changing rooms and car parking

After successfully completing a full size all weather sports pitch for Wycombe District Council Agripower were delighted when they were awarded the contract to construct an eight lane athletics track at a site in Little Marlow, Buckinghamshire.

The Project consisted of:

  • Cut and fill to formation levels of running track and car park
  • Construction of a 400m 8 lane athletics track; including all excavation and disposal off site
  • Installation of lighting columns to running track
  • Installation of power and data points to track
  • Construction of athletics field; including all excavation and disposal off site
  • Long jump / triple jump runway and landing area
  • High jump runway and landing area
  • Pole vault runway and landing area
  • Javelin runways
  • Hammer and discus throwing circle and protective cage
  • Shot put throwing circle and landing area
  • Installation of prefabricated porta cabin club house Incoming power to club house including connections to club house containers
  • Incoming water to club house including connections to club house containers
  • Foul drainage; including connection to existing sewer
  • Installation of CCTV system to club house / car park
  • Car Park / Access & Egress to Track
