After an extremely competitive tender process Agripower were appointed as the main contractors to renovate a rather dilapidated pitch. It was decided to uplift the shock pad and carpet and replace with a state of the art Tiger Evolution surface. The old astro-turf carpet and shock pad was completely recycled back into the community via local sports clubs and schools, who collected the rolls of carpet from the park. The grass was lifted and rolled using Agripowers unique artificial turf lifting machine. The project was primarily funded through developer contributions from a range of residential development sites around Stroud.
