Case Study:

Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School

Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School

The Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School was originally founded in 1690, originally a hospital and school, just north of the City of London.

After successfully constructing the natural rugby pitches at HABS we were delighted to be invited back to tender for the re-surfacing of their 2 full size hockey pitches.

The two existing hockey pitches were refurbished and upgraded with TigerTurfs Evo Pro carpet which is a versatile, sand-dressed surface, ideal for a variety of sports including hockey within the education and community sectors. .The surface also meets with the International Hockey Federation (FIH) Global Performance Standard.

The contract consisted of:

Site clearance, new drainage, edgings, macadam, carpeting with TigerTurf Evo Pro, fencing & floodlighting.

The project was successfully completed on time and within the schools budget.
